The HDQLINE Team is pleased to announce the DCS+ release of version 1.516. The work for this major release focused mainly on adding new features as well as fixing some recently reported issues.
Requires a monitor firmware minimum v1.5012 or later.
New Features:
- Uniformity calibration is now avalilable
- An alternative CIE 2006 white point offset can be selected during calibration. This can be displayed separately in the plot graphic.
- Detailed descriptions of ‘Color Matching Function’ and white point selection are available via the Info button.
- Custom 3D LUT import, ideal use case for HDR ->SDR conversion or custom look LUT’s
- More intuitive EOTF editor with improved GUI and presets
- EOTF 6 default with SDI range for 109% video level
- HRDP 240-B support
Bugfixes:
- In V1.512, using the “Create alternative CIE 2006” option could cause the program to crash.
- Fixed custom 3D LUT loading issues
- Color calibration improvements
- Fixed incorrect display of CCT value in the color calibration application
- Fixed a possible crash related to the “Option” window
- Fixed an issue preventing the display of monitor internal errors
